The number one country on my list to visit. As a huge Lord of the Rings fan, I had longed to come to New Zealand.
How Long do you Need in New Zealand?
I spent 8 weeks travelling this wonderful country, both on the Kiwi Experience bus, and independently and completely fell in love.
The South Island in particular wormed its way into my heart, with every viewpoint being just as spectacular as the last.

With a population of just over 5 million, this a country with lots of space, epic scenery and views to die for.
Both the North and the South Island have so much to offer. Make sure not to miss Northland in the North Island, and the Fjordlands in the South.
What to expect?
Visit Northland in the North Island for stunning coastlines, rich Māori culture, and outdoor adventures. Central North Island is home to volcanoes, geothermal wonders and out of this world scenery.
In the South Island expect jaw dropping scenery, challenging and rewarding hikes, lots of adventure, and absolutely don’t miss the Fjordlands.
