Beautiful Kiribati
Kiribati. A tiny nation located in the Pacific.
Made up of 33 islands, with 32 of them being atolls. The only country to have land in all four hemispheres. Sadly, due to climate change this country could be wiped off the map within 30 years.
My Time in Kiribati
Visiting Kiribati has long been a dream of mine, simply because it is so remote and so hard to get to. Unlike any other country I have been to.
Given how few visitors the country receives every year, this really is a destination for the adventurous traveller, who is looking to step out of the comfort zone and explore the unexplored.
Find out more about this undiscovered country through my posts.

The main international airport is located in Bonriki, which will be the entry point.
South Tarawa has the most infrastructure, and where you can find parliament.
If you are looking for a slice of paradise head to Kiritimati (pronounced Christmas) island. The entire island is a wildlife reserve, and is known for its excellent fishing.
What to expect?
Imagine the bluest water you have ever seen. Get to know welcoming locals and take the chance to slow down – you are on island time now!
South Tarawa is busy and populated. Head over to North Tarawa for eco lodges, palms trees and a much more relaxed way of life.
If you have the time, take an internal flight to visit some of the other islands dotted over an area the same as continental US!
