Welcome to Mongolia

Mongolia. Vast landscapes, nomadic people and Ger tents

Mongolia is the most sparsely populated country in the world. Steeped in nomadic traditions, Mongolia’s vast steppes and Gobi Desert provide some of the most stunning landscapes.

My Experience in Mongolia

I spent two weeks journey around this wonderful place on a Nomadic Mongolia tour, off roading, staying with locals and camping in Ger tents.

Starting in the cosmopolitan capital city of Ulaanbaatar, travelling through the Steppes to the Gobi Desert, travelling the entire time in 4×4 vehicles and not seeing a single road.

Must See Places to see in Mongolia

Mongolia is a vast country, boarding the powerhouses of China and Russia. Make sure to visit the Gobi Desert, the ancient capital of Karakorum, discover the renowned archaeological site of the Flaming Cliffs and visit the Khustai National Park, the home of Mongolian wild horses.

What to expect of Mongolia

Prepare for vast, untouched landscapes, from rugged mountains to endless steppes, where nomadic traditions thrive.

You will find the friendliest of people, views for miles, surprisingly delicious chocolate and beer in each ger camp.
